Apple is increasing there size in iPhone line-up.The size of IPhone 16 is 6.3 inches & iPhone pro & pro max will be 6.9 inches.This is the 1st size update in several years.The size of IPhone 16 is same as iPhone 15 models,while the iPhone don't want there 16 models get bigger.They gave their customer some minor design like extra button new design.The iPhone 16 & 16 pro are very similar in size but iPhone 16 PRO max is bit larger than 15 Pro Max
Apple will introduce a new A-series chipset for iPhone 16 line up
Apple is designing new A-series chips for the iPhone 16 lineup, built on the latest N3E 3-nanometer node. We could see some improvements to efficiency and performance, but we haven't yet heard details on just what we can expect. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro could use different chips, with the higher-end chip limited to the Pro models.
The iPhone 16 all models will be equipped with Action button in older version of iPhone 15 models action button only comes with 15 pro series in 16 it expand to all 4 iPhone models & also they are introducing new capture button. The capture button used for taking photo & videos. The capture Button work like shutter button on digital camera. It helps to detect the pressure for focusing & capture it.
Design
Apple tested several designs for the standard iPhone 16 models, but ultimately decided on a vertically aligned camera system with a pill-shaped camera bump. Prior iPhones have used a square-shaped camera bump to accommodate the diagonal lenses, but Apple is able to slim down with the new lens arrangement
The pill-shaped bump houses the separate Wide and Ultrawide lenses. The microphone will be next to the lenses, while the camera flash will be located on the back of the device outside of the bump.
On the left side of the iPhone, Apple plans to replace the mute switch with the Action button, and the iPhone 16 models will adopt the same button that was introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro models. The volume buttons will be located below the Action button.
Aside from the new vertical lens arrangement and the Capture Button, the iPhone 16 models will have the same general design as the iPhone 15 models with no notable changes to body shape or sizeDisplay
The iPhone 16 has equipped with OLED panels could use micro-Lens. It can improve both brightness and and reduced power consumption. Micro-lens arrays or MLA uses a uniform pattern of billions of lenses inside the panel to reduce internal reflection. The reflected light increases perceived brightness without increasing power consumption.
The OLED displays in the iPhone 16 series is going to be the best & more power efficient.Apple will never disappointed there customer they will improved materials.
Apple is using Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology for the iPhone 16 there no update wheater all iPhone series equipped with it or some iPhone 16 models. which is expected to result in slimmer bezel sizes. BRS allows for a more compact and efficient layout of the circuitry under the display, allowing for thinner bezels without impacting display performance.
It is not yet clear if the slimmed down bezels will be limited to the iPhone 16 Pro models or if it will be a change implemented across the entire lineup.
There could be some minor tweaks to the Face ID system in the iPhone 16 models, but it is not clear what might be different. Apple has plans to overtake Face ID with the launch of the iPhone 16.
Camera
According Ming chi kuo the iphone 16 and 16 plus have a vertical camera model rather than a diagonal camera. This feature only get in pro models not in base models.the iPhone 16 pro will be equipped with a 5x optical zoom lens. Later year iphone only give 5x optical zoom to Pro Max series. Apple plans to add two new buttons to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, one that will replace the Mute Switch and one that's entirely new.
The iPhone 15 Pro models include an Action Button, and in 2024, the Action Button is going to expand to the standard iPhone 16 models. The Action Button used across the iPhone 16 lineup will be identical to the iPhone 15 Pro Action Button.
The Action button, which replaces the traditional mute switch, can perform multiple functions such as activating the Flashlight, turning on the Camera, launching a Shortcut, enabling or disabling a Focus mode, using Translate, turning on/off Silent Mode, and more.
The extra Capture Button The button located on same side of the iPhone as the Power button, in the space that is occupied by the 5G mmWave antenna in the United States.
With the addition of this button, the mmWave cutout has been relocated to the left side of the device, below the volume buttons. While the button is expected to be mechanical rather than capacitive, The Information says that it will be able to pressure and touch. iPhone users will be able to zoom in and out by swiping left and right on the button, focus with a light press, and activate a recording with a more forceful press.
The Capture Button will be available on all four iPhone 16 models, and it will be used as taking photo and videos
Magnetic safe
The MagSafe alignment magnets in the iPhone 16 models are silmmer than before, cutting down on the size of the magnetic ring required for MagSafe-compatible cases.
Colour
The always provide varieties of colors option for their costumers in iPhone 16 models. The expecting colour number is 7 colors, including blue, pink, yellow, green, black, white, and purple.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, though, believes the iPhone 16 will available in black, green, pink, blue, and white, with no purple or yellow options
The iPhone 16 models are expected to adopt the same color infused black glass that was used for the iPhone 15 models. The rear glass layer will feature a frosted effect that contrasts with the main frame color.
